CHARISM
The charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph the Worker is simplicity, self-sacrifice, charity and loyalty to the Magisterium of the Church.

 

PURPOSE AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONGREGATION

The Sisters of St. Joseph the Worker were founded in 1973, and approved in 1974 as a congregation of diocesan right.  The special purpose of the congregation is the worship of God and the sanctification of each Sister through total consecration to God by means of the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience, and a canonically approved Constitution.
